History
In the early 2000's my father and I would travel around the state of Indiana and attend AKC dog shows as spectators. While watching groups at one show he said to me, "You know as much as you love dogs, you should do this." and the journey began!

I got my first whippet in the fall of 2003 and attended my first show in 2004. After that with my family we bred whippets under the kennel name Glynchelyn, a combination of my father's, my sister's, and my middle name. A hobby for my father and sister at the time, it was destine to be my life's passion.

The majority of Glynchelyn dogs where altered and placed when I attended college at Purdue University. I kept a few whippets from that line to keep my passion alive during that time. After graduation, I began my teaching career and met my future husband (James) in Clinton, IN, where we started showing in full swing again. Since my father and sister no longer were involved with the whippets, James and I began thinking of our future in whippets and creating our own kennel.

In 2015 we moved to my hometown of Muncie, IN and bought a whippet haven property. In 2017 James and I married, then a month later experienced a devastating housefire. All of our whippets were lost in the fire.

We have rebuilt our home and our lives. As heartbreaking as losing our home and dogs were, the whippet community came together and lifted us up emotionally. I am forever in debt to the community, which is why I knew I couldn't just stop being involved in the dog world.
